An intrusion alarm system is a system that monitors and detects unauthorized access to a building be it residential of commercial. This system protects the building from burglary and vandalism as well as enhancing the security of the people in the building.
Once the system detects an intrusion, it’s control panel triggers an alarm, activates siren and sends notification to assigned security personnel for their prompt response.
The components of the IDS are detectors, siren and the control panel.
